Minister for Women and Children Affairs and Social Welfare Professor Dr A Z M Zahid Hossain has urged Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leaders and workers to remain united, stating that unity is crucial for winning both national and local government elections. Speaking at an exchange-of-views meeting with district BNP leaders at Nilphamari Circuit House, he emphasized the importance of party discipline, internal unity, and public confidence. Dr Zahid highlighted that engaging in mudslinging would alienate common people, stressing the need for integrity and loyalty to the leadership. He called for strengthening the organization with committed individuals and assigning leadership responsibilities to tested members who remain steadfast during difficult times. Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin, convener of the Association of Engineers Bangladesh, chaired the meeting, which was attended by district BNP and affiliated organization leaders.
