In a recent address, State Minister for Land and Hill Tracts Affairs, Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, outlined the core principles needed to build the new Bangladesh. Guiding Principles for Nation-Building
During the distribution of relief materials organized by the Ziaur Rahman Foundation, Helal stressed that there is no alternative to honesty and public service. He called for the eradication of discrimination, highlighting the need for a unified approach in the nation's development. Helal also urged the public to participate actively in nation-building, encouraging contributions of income, time, and efforts to uplift the poor and marginalized.
Helal praised the Ziaur Rahman Foundation for its support during difficult times, noting the organization's commitment to aiding people even when the BNP was not in power. He cited the recent floods as an example of the government's prompt response to natural disasters, implementing measures to protect lives and provide support in the Chattogram Hill Tracts and other affected areas.
