In a powerful address, State Minister for Land and Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs, Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, assured that the government will ensure justice for all victims of the July Massacre. The remarks came during a commemorative event held in Chattogram to mark July Mass Uprising Day, organized by the Chattogram District Administration. Helal emphasized that no one involved in the killings and atrocities would be spared.

Commitment to Justice

Mir Helal spoke as the chief guest at the 'Discussion on the Significance of the July Mass Uprising, Reception for Families of July Martyrs and July Fighters' held at the Chattogram District Shilpakala Academy. Highlighting the significance of the July Uprising, he noted that it was a mass movement involving people from all walks of life, united in their anti-fascist stance. Helal stressed the importance of preserving the unity achieved during the movement, urging people to stand together against any resurgence of fascism.

Honoring the Martyrs

During the event, families of the July martyrs were honored with flowers. The families were recognized for their sacrifices and contributions to the nation. Prizes were distributed among the winners of various competitions organized to mark the occasion. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Mohammad Abu Sufian, MP, Divisional Commissioner Dr Mohammad Zia Uddin, DIG of Chattogram Range Abdul Quddus, and others.

Call for Unity

Addressing the gathering, Helal condemned the oppression and injustices committed by the Awami fascist regime over the past 17 years. He declared that Sheikh Hasina would never be allowed to return to the country, as the people would not permit it. He emphasized the need for continued vigilance and unity to prevent the return of oppressive regimes.

The event served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made during the July Uprising and the ongoing commitment to justice and unity in Bangladesh.
