Rajshahi University held a groundbreaking event for AI education and innovation, launching the 'AI Navigator 2026' certificate program and the 'AI Confident' teacher initiative.

At Rajshahi University, an event celebrating innovation in artificial intelligence was held under the 'AI for All' initiative by Send A Little Hope. The 'AI Navigator 2026' program showcased student projects and awarded certificates to participants who completed the training. The event, held at the Senate Building, was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Faridul Islam, with Pro-VC Prof Mamunur Rashid, AI Navigator's Sadman Sakib Chowdhury, and CEO of Send A Little Hope Mujahidul Islam as special guests.

During the event, students exhibited their innovative projects, which were a key component of the 'AI Navigator 2026' initiative. The Vice-Chancellor awarded certificates to the successful students, highlighting their achievements in mastering AI skills. A session titled 'Navigating the AI Future' featured discussions on various AI-related topics, including prompt engineering, Teachable Machine, modern AI tools, and AI's impact on higher education and careers.

A question-and-answer session followed the discussions, providing participants with the opportunity to seek clarifications and insights from the experts present. The primary goal of the event was to foster awareness and skills in artificial intelligence across Bangladesh, emphasizing the responsible and effective use of AI in higher education.

The launch of the 'AI Confident' program marked a significant step towards preparing teachers for a technology-driven future. The event underscored the university's commitment to expanding the 'AI for All' initiative, aiming to equip both students and educators with the necessary tools and knowledge to thrive in an AI-centric world.

Attendees at the event included teachers, students, researchers, and representatives from the industrial sector, all eager to learn and contribute to the growing field of artificial intelligence. The Director of RU's Career Counselling and Development Centre, Prof Nurul Momen, presided over the event, while the Director of the Office of International Affairs, Prof Muhammad Sajjadur Rahim, also delivered a speech.
