The minister emphasized that the project fulfills a longstanding demand of the Hili residents. According to him, the construction of the new road is part of the government's promise to complete pending projects that would significantly benefit the local community. The road, 50 feet wide and built with durable materials, is estimated to cost Tk 34 crore. The completion of this road is anticipated to create new employment opportunities and contribute to the local economy by enhancing trade and commerce.

Local leaders have expressed optimism about the project's potential to alleviate traffic congestion.
