Rain is expected in several parts of Bangladesh within the next 24 hours, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD). The forecast indicates light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds in the Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Light rainfall is also expected in the Rajshahi and Khulna divisions. Some areas may experience moderately heavy to heavy rainfall.

The BMD's bulletin highlighted that temperatures across the country may decrease slightly. The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 35.2 degrees Celsius in Jashore, while the minimum temperature today is 23.2 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj. Over the past 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 80 millimeters was observed in M.Court under the Chattogram division.

The sun is set to set at 6:40 pm today and rise at 5:29 am tomorrow in Dhaka. The weather conditions may affect daily activities and outdoor events across the country.

The slight drop in temperatures and the anticipated rainfall may bring some relief to residents, especially those in areas experiencing heat waves. However, the weather changes could also impact agricultural activities, prompting farmers to take necessary precautions.
