According to the bulletin released this morning, light to moderate rain accompanied by gusty winds is likely in several divisions, including Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet. A few areas in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions may also experience rain. In some places, moderately heavy to heavy rainfall is expected.
The forecast warns that the rain could bring temporary disruptions, with the potential for localized flooding in low-lying areas. The Met Office noted that temperatures may slightly increase during this period. The highest temperature recorded on Friday was 35.5 degrees Celsius in Sylhet, while the minimum temperature today was 24.2 degrees Celsius in Kumarkhali, Khulna division.
The BMD reported that in the past 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 67 millimeters was recorded in Bhola. As for the current day, the sun will set at 6.37 pm and rise at 5.31 am in Dhaka. These weather conditions are expected to impact daily activities and may affect agricultural operations and travel.
