The axis of the monsoon trough extends from Rajasthan through several Indian states and into northern Bangladesh, with an associated trough reaching into the North Bay. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds are expected in major divisions including Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet over the next 24 hours.
The Met Office has warned of moderately heavy to heavy rainfall at various locations nationwide. The current weather conditions are expected to result in a slight drop in both day and night temperatures across the country. In Tetulia, the highest temperature recorded on Tuesday was 34.8 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature today was 23.7 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.
In Dhaka, the sun is set to set at 6:39 pm today and rise at 5:30 am tomorrow. The persistent monsoon activity is expected to bring significant rainfall, impacting daily life and agricultural activities across the country.
