A team of students from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) is participating in the 'Bangladesh Innovation Fair-2026'. The three-day event, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, commenced on Saturday at the Novo Theatre in Dhaka. Vice-Chancellor of RUET, Professor Dr. S M Abdur Razzak, attended the inauguration to support the students. The fair, themed 'Innovate to Market', aims to connect universities, research institutions, innovators, industries, investors, and stakeholders on a single platform to link research and innovation with practical application and commercialization. This year, seven RUET teams are showcasing their innovative ideas and projects at stalls 68 and 69, supervised by Prof Dr. Rabiul Islam Sarkar and Assistant Director Abu Ismail Siddiquee. The fair provides an opportunity for visitors, researchers, industrial entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders to gain insights into the innovative projects of RUET students. It is expected that this participation will enhance the students' innovative skills and strengthen research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia linkage at the university. Various plenary and parallel sessions, roundtable meetings, and dialogues will also be held during the fair.
