The Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) is set to host its annual science fair titled 'In Search of Future Scientists-2026 (Bhavishyot Biggyanir Khojey)' for the third consecutive year. The event aims to exhibit the innovative capabilities of Bangladesh's young talent on both national and international stages. According to a press release, the fair is open to students, innovators, researchers, engineers, and technology enthusiasts aged 18 or above from any public or private university, medical college, or technology institution across the country.

Interested participants are invited to register by September 30. The fair encourages the submission of original innovative projects, including those in artificial intelligence, robotics, agricultural technology, health technology, renewable energy, and smart solutions. Notably, previously presented projects will not be accepted, and participants must present their own models in person.

At the event, selected innovators will have the opportunity to present their projects before ZRF President and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Vice-Chairperson Dr Zubaida Rahman. The top five young winners of the competition will receive special financial assistance to establish startups, with the goal of nurturing new entrepreneurs. Additionally, the winners will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals.

The Ziaur Rahman Foundation, established in memory of the late President Ziaur Rahman, has been a significant contributor to promoting education and innovation in Bangladesh. Through initiatives like the annual science fair, the foundation aims to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth. This event not only provides a platform for young minds to showcase their talents but also encourages them to think creatively and solve real-world problems through technology and science.

The significance of such events cannot be overstated in a country like Bangladesh, where the youth population is vast and the potential for innovation is immense. By providing a platform for young innovators, the Ziaur Rahman Foundation is playing a crucial role in shaping the future of the nation. The financial assistance and recognition awarded to the winners are likely to inspire more young people to pursue careers in science and technology, ultimately contributing to the country's development.
