DHAKA - Students from Dhaka Residential Model College (DRMC), who will represent Bangladesh at the RoboSub 2026 international robotics competition in California, met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at his Sangsad Bhaban office. During the meeting, the students presented their project to the Prime Minister, who engaged warmly and gained detailed insights into their innovative project, according to PM’s deputy press secretary Md. This team is Bangladesh’s first underwater robotics initiative, launched by DRMC and supported by the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at United International University (UIU). The Prime Minister expressed hope that their success would enhance Bangladesh’s global image.
RoboSub 2026 Competition Details
The RoboSub 2026 competition will be held in California from July 11 to 16. The DRMC students will represent Bangladesh in this prestigious event, showcasing their skills and innovations in underwater robotics.
