In a significant address marking the 37th founding anniversary of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), Dr. Zubaida Rahman, the wife of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, lauded DAB for its outstanding humanitarian values and professional competence. Speaking at a special rally held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, Zubaida Rahman highlighted DAB's commitment to advancing doctors' welfare and improving healthcare quality in Bangladesh.

Zubaida Rahman, also the Vice President of the Ziaur Rahman Foundation, addressed the gathering of DAB leaders and doctors from across the country. She expressed confidence in DAB's continued dedication to standing by the people and promoting doctors' welfare, emphasizing the association's pivotal role in the nation's medical community.

The event, attended by various dignitaries including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Health Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Husain, featured tributes to Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. The rally was formally inaugurated by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Dr. Zubaida Rahman, who planted saplings and hoisted national and party flags.
