In a tragic incident on Saturday afternoon, a road accident in the Nengrirhat area of Rahimanpur Union, Sadar upazila in Thakurgaon, resulted in the deaths of two people. The victims were identified as Abul Hossain, 65, and Arnab Islam, 13. Nirab Islam, 16, who was traveling pillion on the motorcycle, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.

The accident occurred around 2:00 PM when the motorcycle carrying Nirab and Arnab struck Abul Hossain, who was crossing the road. The impact caused the motorcycle to lose control and crash into an electric pole. Both Abul Hossain and Arnab Islam died at the scene, while Nirab Islam was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
