Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has inaugurated a Reverse Osmosis (RO) pure water management system at Nagar Bhaban, ensuring safe drinking water for service recipients and employees. RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton unveiled the system by unveiling a plaque this noon. The RO system is available on every floor from the 1st to the 10th floor of Nagar Bhaban, making it easily accessible for all visitors and staff.

This initiative aims to provide a safe and healthy environment for citizens who visit Nagar Bhaban for various services. During the inauguration, RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton emphasized that ensuring facilities for citizens is one of the main responsibilities of the City Corporation. He highlighted that alongside providing civic services, the RCC is committed to various initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all.

Reverse Osmosis is a water purification technology that uses a semi-permeable membrane to remove impurities from water by applying pressure. This method effectively removes contaminants such as salts, bacteria, and other impurities, providing clean and safe drinking water. The installation of such a system in Nagar Bhaban is a significant step towards ensuring public health and safety.

Nagar Bhaban serves as a central hub for various municipal services, attracting a large number of visitors daily. The availability of pure drinking water will not only enhance the convenience for visitors but also promote better health practices among the public. This initiative reflects the RCC's commitment to improving the quality of life for its citizens.

The RO pure water management system is expected to reduce the reliance on bottled water, contributing to environmental sustainability by minimizing plastic waste. Additionally, it ensures that both visitors and employees have access to clean drinking water, which is crucial for maintaining hygiene and health standards in public facilities.

This project is part of a broader effort by the Rajshahi City Corporation to enhance public services and infrastructure. By providing essential facilities like clean drinking water, the RCC aims to create a more citizen-friendly environment, encouraging more people to utilize municipal services with confidence.

In Bangladesh, access to clean drinking water remains a critical issue in many urban and rural areas. Initiatives like the RO pure water management system at Nagar Bhaban are vital in addressing this challenge, ensuring that citizens have access to safe drinking water in public spaces. This not only improves public health but also demonstrates the government's commitment to providing essential services to its people.
