In an effort to ensure a cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing urban environment, the Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has initiated a special cleanliness drive. Under the leadership of RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, the corporation is conducting regular cleanliness operations throughout the city.
A significant operation took place on Tuesday, focusing on a stretch from Octroi Mor near the RUET wall to the city flyover. During this drive, workers removed weeds from footpaths, cleared mud and garbage from the roads, and unblocked drains to ensure proper water flow. These efforts aim to maintain clean roads and footpaths, improve the city’s appearance, and facilitate smooth movement for residents.
