In an effort to improve access to advanced medical services, Rangpur City Corporation (RpCC) and Rangpur Community Medical College and Hospital (RCMCH) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement, signed by RpCC Administrator Advocate Mahfuz Un Nabi Don and RCMCH Managing Director Md Nazmul Ahsan Sarkar, focuses on providing free advanced medical services at various health centers twice a week, and affordable medical services on other days.

Key Details of the Partnership

The MoU aims to bring high-quality healthcare services directly to marginalized communities in Rangpur. As part of the agreement, RCMCH will offer free medical services on Sundays and Tuesdays, while maintaining affordable rates for the rest of the week. The initiative is expected to significantly improve the health outcomes for city residents.

At the signing ceremony, the Managing Director of RCMCH emphasized the hospital's commitment to enhancing primary healthcare. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the city corporation and the medical college to achieve this goal.
