In the village of Talgachhi Padmapukur in Bargachhi Union of Paba Upazila, Rajshahi, the life of Motalib and Sanjuara Bibi has taken a significant turn for the better thanks to government support. For years, the family struggled with a leaking tin roof and lack of safe drinking water, often spending rainy nights on wet beds. Their hardships have now eased with the upazila administration providing new tin sheets, financial aid, and a submersible water pump.

Motalib, who suffered a serious waist injury a decade ago, and his wife Sanjuara Bibi, along with their children, faced numerous challenges. With Motalib unable to work due to his spinal condition, the family relied on agricultural labor for survival. The new submersible water pump, installed in front of their house, now serves not only their family but also the surrounding community.

Sanjuara Bibi expressed her relief, stating, 'We had no tube-well in our house. During the drought, we had to bring water from a distant mosque. Now not only us, but people of the whole neighborhood can take water from here. It feels like our suffering of so many days has eased a little.'

Local residents and officials praised the administration's initiative. Paba Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Ibnul Abedin highlighted the administration's commitment to delivering assistance to those in need, ensuring no one is deprived of government services.

This act of humanitarian support not only transformed the life of Motalib and Sanjuara Bibi but also set a positive example for the community, demonstrating the impact of government aid in alleviating poverty and improving living conditions in rural areas.
