Dinajpur-2 lawmaker Sadiq Riaz Chowdhury distributed 30 metric tons of rice among 1,000 destitute people affected by natural disasters in Biral upazila of Dinajpur district. The aid was distributed across 12 unions and one municipality in the upazila under the auspices of the upazila administration and the Department of Disaster Management. Each beneficiary received 30 kg of rice.
