Nepali athlete Hari Chandra Giri, 31, has set a new Guinness World Record by descending 100 stairs on his hands in 44.71 seconds in Chongqing, China. This feat marks the fastest time for descending 100 stairs upside down using hands. Giri, already a holder of multiple Guinness World Records, chose Chongqing for its famous stairs, aiming to demonstrate controlled, precise, fast, and safe body balance on hands.

Giri's previous records include descending 50 stairs on hands in 12.65 seconds, walking 10 meters with a football between his legs on hands in 4.49 seconds, and walking 50 meters with a football between his legs on hands in 25.58 seconds. He also holds the record for descending 75 stairs on hands in 25.03 seconds.
