The Bangladeshi government is prioritizing the transformation of the nation's healthcare system through practical strategies, according to State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. MA Muhith. Addressing the challenges stemming from years of institutional neglect, deprivation, and corruption, Dr. Muhith emphasized the need for comprehensive planning, skilled personnel, and effective management.
In a recent discussion meeting at Shah Alam Bir Uttam Auditorium, organized with Chattogram Medical College faculty and students, Dr. Muhith highlighted the issues caused by uncoordinated procurement of medical equipment and corruption. He pointed out that despite significant investments over the past 15 years, much of the medical equipment remains unused due to a lack of strategic planning and trained personnel.
