Bangladeshi Textile Firms Excel at Texworld Paris 2026

At least seventeen Bangladeshi textile and apparel companies participated in the 59th edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris 2026, held from August 31 to September 2 at the Le Bourget Exhibition Centre in Paris, France. Organised by Messe Frankfurt, the three-day event saw around 1,300 manufacturers from nearly 35 countries, including major textile and apparel-producing markets such as Bangladesh, China, India, Pakistan, Türkiye, Myanmar, South Korea, Japan, and Italy. This participation underscored Bangladesh's significant role in the global textile and fashion industry.

The Bangladeshi exhibitors, including Bnm Garments Industry, Bengal Glory, Comoda Garments, Corus Fashion, Dk Textile, Ducati Apparels, Fabitex Industries, Fabrica Knit Composite, H&f Fashion, Hoorain High Tech (Htf), Nexgen Apparel, Norban Comtex, Nz Denim, Nz Fabric, Sim Fabrics, Skylark Knit Composite, and Warptex, presented their latest products and manufacturing capabilities. They aimed to create opportunities for new business relationships, explore emerging sourcing markets, and expand export destinations.

The companies described their experience at the fair as positive and productive, citing encouraging interactions with international buyers, new business contacts, and promising export opportunities. They highlighted the role of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Pavilion, which provided a coordinated platform for promoting Bangladeshi products and enhancing the visibility of the country's textile and apparel sector in the international market.

Bangladesh's participation in the fair is expected to contribute to strengthening the country's image as a competitive and reliable sourcing destination for global textile and apparel buyers. As the world's second-largest sourcing hub for finished apparel after China, Bangladesh continues to play a crucial role in the global textile and fashion supply chain.

The Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris fair is a significant platform for textile and apparel manufacturers to showcase their products and capabilities to international buyers and industry professionals. The event facilitates networking, business deals, and the exploration of new markets, making it a vital component of the global textile and fashion industry.
