Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today declared that the government will let no obstacle stand in the way of rebuilding the country as long as the people support the ruling BNP. Speaking in Batajor of Gournadi upazila, he highlighted the crucial role of public backing in the government's efforts to move the nation forward.

Engagement with Family Card Beneficiaries

During his visit, the Prime Minister engaged with women Family Card holders, personally inquiring about their experiences with the programme. Parul Akhtar, a beneficiary, shared how the Family Card has alleviated her family's financial burdens, prompting the Prime Minister to assure continued support for such initiatives.

Expansion of Family Card Programme

Tarique Rahman announced plans to extend the Family Card programme to more families across Bangladesh. He revealed that around 600 families in the area have already received the cards and pledged to deliver them to female heads of nearly four crore families nationwide within the next five years.

Commitment to Peaceful Coexistence

The Prime Minister underscored the government's dedication to ensuring peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths and religions. He called for patience and cooperation to build a harmonious society, stressing the historical tradition of peaceful coexistence in the country.
