The Khulna city unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman for appointing three Khulna lawmakers to key parliamentary standing committees.

The Khulna city unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman for appointing three lawmakers from Khulna to key parliamentary standing committees. In a joint statement, the city BNP leaders said the appointments reflected the aspirations of the people of Khulna and demonstrated the government's confidence in the region's elected representatives by assigning them responsibilities in important parliamentary oversight bodies.

National Parliament Whip and Khulna-3 lawmaker Rokibul Islam Bakul has been appointed a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Home Affairs. Khulna-4 MP SK Azizul Bari Helal has been appointed to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while Khulna-1 MP Amir Ejaz Khan has been included in the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.
