Deputy Speaker Barrister Kayser Kamal today called on all citizens to unite and work together to create a new Bangladesh where the rule of law prevails, human rights are protected, and the nation operates constitutionally. Speaking to journalists after visiting the residence of Bhanga Gharua Union ex-Chairman Alomgir Hossain in Faridpur, Kamal emphasized the need for everyone’s cooperation to shape the new democracy. He highlighted the importance of tolerance and patience in this process, aiming to build a nation where law and rights are upheld.

Kamal stated, “We’ll all work together to build our country in such a way that the rule of law is established here, human rights are secured and Bangladesh is run in accordance with the constitution.” He further added, “For this, we seek everyone’s cooperation. The new democracy that has been established in Bangladesh is advancing step by step. For giving it to institutional shape, the people need to exercise tolerance and patience. Together, we will build Bangladesh in our own way, so that from now on, everyone can understand that the rule of law has been established here, human rights have been secured, and Bangladesh is being run constitutionally.”

During the visit, the Deputy Speaker was accompanied by lawmaker Shahidul Islam Babu (Faridpur-4 constituency) and other local BNP leaders. The visit underscored the importance of local engagement in achieving national goals.

The call for unity and cooperation comes at a critical time for Bangladesh, as the nation strives to strengthen its democratic institutions and ensure the protection of its citizens’ rights. Kamal’s vision for a new Bangladesh without disappearances and crossfire reflects a commitment to a safer and more just society.
