Selina Akter has provided a recipe for cooking beef with raw jackfruit. The recipe includes marinating beef with various spices and then slow-cooking it with jackfruit.
Ingredients
Beef: 1.5 kg, Raw jackfruit: 500 grams, Onion paste: 1/2 cup, Ginger paste: 1.5 tbsp, Garlic paste: 1 tbsp, Red chili powder: 2 tsp, Turmeric powder: 1 tsp, Cumin powder: 1 tsp, Coriander powder: 1 tsp, Garam masala powder: 1 tsp, Salt to taste.
Method
Marinate the beef with all the spices and let it sit for an hour. Prepare the jackfruit by cutting and boiling it in turmeric and salt water. Fry the jackfruit in mustard oil with salt and red chili powder. In a pot, heat oil and fry whole spices. Add the marinated beef and cook covered. Add the fried jackfruit and cook until the beef is tender. Finish with fried cumin powder and raw chilies.
