Here is a recipe for making beef stew. The main ingredients include half a kilogram of beef (boneless leg or shoulder meat), 1 tablespoon of flour, 2 tablespoons of chopped onions, 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic, 2 large carrots (cut into large pieces), 2 large potatoes (cut into large pieces), 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder, 1 tablespoon of celery, 1 tablespoon of oil, and 2 teaspoons of butter.
Heat butter in a pan. Season the beef pieces with a little black pepper, salt, and flour, and fry them on high heat for 5-6 minutes. In the same oil, fry the chopped onions and garlic until browned. Add the large pieces of carrots and potatoes and stir for a few minutes. Add black pepper powder, salt, and enough water. Cover the pot with celery and fried meat. The stew is ready once the meat, carrots, and potatoes are cooked. If you want a thicker stew, add a little cornflour mixed with water 1 minute before finishing. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
Although this dish originated in France, it is popular all over the world.
