Harper Beckham gifted her father, former English footballer David Beckham, a unique rose named after him for his 50th birthday. The 'Sir David Beckham Rose' was cultivated by 'David Austin Roses' at Harper's special request. The rose was officially unveiled at the Chelsea Flower Show this year. Each plant sold will contribute £2.50 to The King's Foundation, of which David Beckham is a goodwill ambassador.
The rose, which changes color as it blooms, features a beautiful golden center and a unique fragrance combining notes of honey, musk, nougat, and clove. The plant grows upright with sturdy, spreading branches and medium-sized, cup-shaped flowers. The rose has been available for purchase since May 18 on the David Austin Roses website, their Shropshire plant center, and selected retail locations, starting at £27.50 per plant.
