US President Donald Trump has asserted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must accept any deal the US makes with Iran, emphasizing that the final decision lies with the US President. In a telephone interview with the Financial Times, Trump said, 'He (Netanyahu) will have no other option.' He added, 'I make the final decision. I make all decisions. He (Netanyahu) is not a decision-maker.'

This statement comes after Iran launched missile attacks on Israel, despite a ceasefire agreement reached earlier in April. Trump also told Fox News that he would instruct Netanyahu to refrain from retaliatory actions against Iran, contrary to statements from the Israeli military.

Trump clarified that the recent Iranian attacks would not alter his desire to conclude negotiations with Iran. He said, 'This will have no impact on the deal.' Regarding the possibility of a failed deal, Trump mentioned considering a commando operation in Iran or maintaining a naval blockade, stating, 'This (naval) blockade has probably proven more effective than any attack on the country so far.'

Trump's comments about Netanyahu were made amid reports of a heated phone conversation between the two leaders, where Trump reportedly told Netanyahu, 'You've gone completely insane. If it weren't for me, you'd be in jail by now. Everyone hates you now. That's why everyone hates Israel now.' Trump confirmed the conversation and did not dispute its portrayal.
