The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has issued a show-cause notice to a teacher for unethically handling more answer sheets than permitted during the SSC 2026 exams. The teacher, identified as Mo. A. Rashid Mia from Daulatpur Union High School in Manohardi Upazila, Narsingdi, was responsible for evaluating the Bangla Second Paper (Subject Code-102) with an examiner code of 2460.

According to a notification issued by the board on Monday (June 1, 2026), the teacher was found to have taken 700 answer sheets instead of the designated 300, evaluated them hastily, and submitted them to the chief examiner. The board has asked the teacher to explain why disciplinary action should not be taken against him for violating board regulations.
