Khulna Agricultural University (KAU) and Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) are preparing to formalize a partnership aimed at enhancing educational and research capabilities. On August 2, 2026, KAU's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Asaduzzaman Sarkar, visited KUET to meet with its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mashud. The meeting focused on collaborative efforts to upgrade laboratory facilities at KAU's Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, and to draft a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions.
Focus on Technical and Institutional Support
During their discussions, the VCs explored various aspects of technical and institutional support that KUET could provide to KAU. The aim is to improve the quality of education and research in agricultural engineering and technology, ensuring that students and faculty have access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
