On August 6, 2026, the five-day Rajshahi Entrepreneur Fair ended with a closing ceremony held at Madhuban Community Centre. The event, aimed at fostering entrepreneurial activities and creating job opportunities, featured 60 stalls showcasing innovative products. Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC), attended as the chief guest, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts to implement the Prime Minister’s 31-point outline. Riton assured full support for future events, emphasizing the role of entrepreneurship in economic advancement. The fair was organized by Tauhid Ferdous Tanmoy, with participation from various stakeholders.
During the fair, entrepreneurs displayed a wide range of innovative products, drawing attention to the potential for economic development in Rajshahi. Riton expressed gratitude to the organizers and pledged continued assistance for entrepreneurial initiatives, stressing the need for collective action to realize the Prime Minister's vision. He noted the creation of a dedicated fund and the provision of low-interest loans to support budding entrepreneurs.
The closing ceremony included speeches from special guests, including Sheikh Mamun Dollar, RCC Chief Conservancy Officer, and Saiful Islam Hirak, Director of Barind Multipurpose Development Authority. These officials lauded the fair’s success in bringing together entrepreneurs and promoting business opportunities. The event underscored the Rajshahi City Corporation’s commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth in the region.
