On August 6, 2026, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Commissioner Mohammad Faizul Kabir visited the family of July Martyr Sakib Anjum, killed in 2024 during an anti-discrimination movement. Faizul Kabir assured the family of all necessary legal and security support. He also pledged full cooperation in resolving a legal dispute with neighbors over their ancestral homestead.
During the visit, Faizul Kabir directed the local police to maintain round-the-clock surveillance around the family's residence for their safety. The family expressed gratitude for the swift investigation and continued support from the RMP.
