During an assessment tour in Banshkhali Upazila’s flood-affected areas, he distributed relief among people in distress and stressed the importance of ensuring no one suffers from hunger. Rizvi noted significant livestock loss and other resource damages due to flooding and landslides. He highlighted that the government is actively monitoring the situation around the clock and has taken measures to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases.
