Mymensingh Zila Parishad has announced a Tk 39.83 crore budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year. The budget was approved at a meeting held at the Zainul Abedin Auditorium, chaired by Zila Parishad Administrator Syed Emran Saleh Prince and conducted by Chief Executive Officer Shah Kamrul Huda.
Focus on Development and Public Welfare
Administrator Prince emphasized that the budget is a strategic roadmap for the overall development, public welfare, and sustainable progress of Mymensingh district. It aligns with the directives of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, prioritizing public expectations.
Key Areas of Investment
The budget aims to enhance rural infrastructure, educational institutions, religious and social organizations, youth development, women's empowerment, and cultural advancement. Ensuring optimal utilization of government funds remains a primary goal, with public money dedicated solely to public welfare.
