An agriculture officer was killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a motorcycle in Noakhali today.

An agriculture officer was killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a motorcycle on the Chowmuhani-Chamir Munsirhat road in Begumganj upazila today. The deceased was identified as Md Abdur Rahman alias Suman, 38, son of Abdur Rashid of Sonaimuri upazila in the district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Begumganj Police Station, Mohammad Shamsuzzaman, said the accident occurred when the truck collided head-on with Suman's motorcycle, killing him on the spot. Police have seized the truck and legal proceedings are underway, the OC added.
