Police have arrested 37 people in separate operations in Jatrabari and Uttara West areas of Dhaka as part of an ongoing anti-crime drive. Police said a steel machete and a steel knife were recovered during the operation. In a separate drive conducted over the past 24 hours, Uttara West Police Station arrested 17 people from different areas under its jurisdiction. The DMP said those arrested include wanted criminals, individuals facing arrest warrants and people accused in various criminal cases. All the detainees have been produced before the concerned courts, the DMP said.
