The memoir will also address his decision to run for reelection and subsequent withdrawal from the race.

Biden disclosed in May 2025 that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had spread to his bones. In the same video, he expressed gratitude to his well-wishers and noted that his treatment has been progressing positively.

The memoir will highlight significant events during Biden's presidency, including the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol, the war in Ukraine, and the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan.
