In a significant recognition of paralegals' contributions, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman underscored their role as a cornerstone of public service, extending beyond their profession to ensure justice reaches the underserved. During the inauguration of the Friendship Community Paralegal Training Manual, he highlighted the critical role paralegals play in bringing legal awareness and services directly to the communities in need.
The manual, a collaborative effort between the Directorate of Bangladesh Legal Aid (DBLA) and Friendship, aims to enhance the skills of grassroots paralegals, thereby expanding legal awareness and access to justice. As someone who has previously worked as a paralegal, Minister Asaduzzaman emphasized the importance of these roles in raising awareness about rights and delivering essential legal services.
