Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Husain has reaffirmed the government's commitment to eliminating the supply of counterfeit, adulterated, and substandard medicines. Speaking in parliament, he emphasized the government's dedication to strict legal action against offenders.

The minister highlighted that the Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) is conducting regular field inspections, mobile court operations, and intelligence-based drives with law enforcement assistance.
