Government Allocates Tk 5.40cr for Nine Educational Institutions in Dinajpur

The government has allocated Tk 5.40 crore for the construction and renovation of nine educational institutions in Biral and Bochaganj upazilas of Dinajpur district.

A total of Tk 5.40 crore has been allocated for the construction and renovation of nine educational institutions in Biral and Bochaganj upazilas of Dinajpur district. The funds will be used to construct three new model educational institution buildings and renovate six existing ones. Tenders for the construction and renovation works will be invited in July this year.

Allocation Details

The allocation is divided among several institutions. Tk 1.50 crore each has been allocated for constructing new non-residential buildings at Uttar Madhabpur High School in Biral and Paschim Shankarpur Nurul Huda Dakhil Madrasah. Additionally, Tk 1.50 crore is earmarked for the construction of Kodalkati High School building in Bochaganj upazila.

For repair and renovation, Tk 15 lakh each has been allocated for Kamdebpur High School, Dhukurjhari Di-Mukhi High School, and Board Hat Darul Ulum Dakhil Madrasa in Biral upazila. Similarly, Tk 15 lakh each will be used for Adarsha High School, Mobarakpur Junior High School, and Ramnagar Dakhil Madrasah in Bochaganj upazila.

Government Involvement

Dinajpur-2 constituency lawmaker Sadique Reaz announced that the allocation was provided through the Education Engineering Department under the operating budgets of the Secondary and Higher Education Division and the Technical and Madrasah Education Division. The funds are intended for the construction, expansion, repair, rehabilitation, and renovation of non-residential buildings at private educational institutions in the current fiscal year.
