HSC and Equivalent Exams Postponed in Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Rangamati Due to Adverse Weather

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled for today (July 8) in Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, and Rangamati districts under the Chattogram Education Board have been postponed due to adverse weather and flood conditions. The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Education Board issued a notification on Tuesday to this end.

Postponement Details

According to the notification, only the examinations in these three districts under the Chattogram Board have been postponed. However, examinations in other districts under the board, including Bandarban and Khagrachhari, will be held as per the schedule. The postponed examinations include HSC under the General Education Board, Alim under the Madrasah Education Board, HSC (BM), HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce under the Technical Education Board.

Other Boards Unaffected

The Coordination Committee further clarified that examinations under the country's other nine general education boards, as well as the madrasah and technical boards (except for the three affected districts) will be held today as per schedule.
