The other accused in the case are former Rajuk chairman Humayun Khadem, former Rajuk engineer M Azizul Haque, former Rajuk member (Estate) Lt Col (Retd) M Nurul Haque, former Rajuk director Abdur Rahman Bhuiyan, former Rajuk deputy director (Estate) Md Azharul Islam, former Rajuk superintendent Md Habib Ullah, former assistant secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works Abdus Sobhan, former section assistant Md Mahbubul Haque, and two brothers from Ramu in Cox's Bazar—Mir Mohammad Hasan and Mir Md. Nurul Afsar.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case on February 6, 2024, against 11 individuals, including the former Rajuk chairman.
