A documentary on the July Mass Uprising was screened, and the day’s significance was discussed among members of the Bangladeshi community residing in Istanbul.
Consul General Muhammad Mizanur Rahman paid tribute to the martyrs, emphasizing the uprising's role in advancing people's rights and justice in Bangladesh. He praised the contributions and sacrifices of the younger generation and the expatriates during the July-August movement. He expressed optimism that the martyrs' sacrifices would inspire future generations with patriotism and democratic values.
During the open discussion, community members reflected on the uprising's importance and shared their memories of participation in the movement.
