Three youths were killed and two others critically injured in a collision involving three motorcycles in Azmiriganj upazila of Habiganj this evening. The accident occurred around 6:30 pm near Jalsukha Bridge under Jalsukha Union. Police and local sources reported that one person died at the scene, while the four critically injured victims were rushed to Habiganj District Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared two more dead. The remaining two injured were referred to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
Identification and Aftermath
The deceased were identified as Antar, 25, son of Chandan from Paharpur area in Azmiriganj, Tanvir, son of Ful Mia from Amirkhani village in Baniachang upazila, and Abidul Laskar, 32, son of Nurul Laskar from the same village. The injured, Shahidul Islam Bacchu, 35, and Md Mizan Mia, 27, are employees of Buro Bangladesh. Officer-in-Charge of Azmiriganj Police Station Md Akbar Hossain confirmed that police visited the scene and sent the bodies to the morgue for autopsy. An investigation into the accident is underway.
