The traffickers managed to escape upon realizing the Coast Guard's presence.

Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujan, the Media Officer of the Coast Guard, confirmed that the Coast Guard plays a crucial role in maintaining law and order in coastal and riverine regions, ensuring the security of seaports, and combating smuggling, as well as human and drug trafficking. The special operation began at 8 am on Sunday in the vicinity of Akmal Ali Ghat, which falls under the jurisdiction of the EPZ police station.
