Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam announced that the government has identified 1,498 tourist spots across the country for this purpose. The announcement was made during a visit to Uttara Ganabhaban, a significant historical site in Natore. The minister highlighted the importance of this location, mentioning that it was used for cabinet meetings by former President Ziaur Rahman and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. The government hopes that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will also use this venue to outline development plans for Natore.
