Jamaat-e-Islami's Secretary General Mia Ghulam Parwar has criticized the government for becoming alienated from the people within two months of its formation. He stated that the government is not understanding the language and aspirations of the people and is instead taking positions contrary to public opinion.

Parwar made these comments during his speech as the chief guest at the concluding day of a two-day Rukun Education Camp organized by Barisal Jamaat. He further alleged that the government is creating unnecessary political crises by ignoring the opinions of 70% of the people expressed through the general election.

He accused the government of centralizing power in the hands of the Prime Minister, leading to a one-party fascist rule. Parwar also criticized the government for not fulfilling the promises made to the people before coming to power.

The Jamaat leader demanded that the government should fulfill its mandate for five years and amend the constitution in accordance with public will. He warned that if the government does not change its stance, the people will take to the streets again.

Parwar also criticized the government for not fully implementing the July charter and accused it of selectively applying its provisions. He compared the government's stance to the 'Salish money, Talgaach amar' policy.
