Situated in the heart of the city near Agargaon metrorail station, the Bangladesh Air Force Museum stands out as a preferred destination for families and children during Eid holidays. The museum features a vast open green courtyard with a collection of war planes, training aircraft, helicopters, radars, aircraft engines, and remnants of World War II aircraft. Each aircraft is accompanied by historical information in both Bengali and English.
The museum not only preserves history but also offers a joyful world for children. Various colorful sculptures of animals and cartoon characters are placed at different points, named 'Children Heaven'. An adventure kingdom named 'Adventure Kingdom' has been set up in the museum premises for children's entertainment.
The Adventure Kingdom, located in the museum, has a mini children's park on the opposite side with an entry fee of only 10 taka. There is another children's park named 'Picco Funcity' where the entry fee for children over 2 years old is 50 taka. If accompanied by a guardian, the entry fee is 25 taka. There is also a large egg-shaped structure with a VR gaming zone inside. These games can be enjoyed with tickets ranging from 100 to 300 taka.
For video game and indoor game lovers, there is a separate 'Games Carnival'. In this gaming zone, you can play double shooting games, super bike, driving car out run, bumper car and doll catcher (travel bus / telephone) with an 80 taka ticket. You can play double hammer hit, basketball, onegun shooter and kidi deer rides with a 40 taka ticket.
On the right side of the museum premises is a circular lake. You can enjoy boating in this lake with a ticket of 50 taka per person. Surrounding the lake in a circular manner is a railway line. To ride the four-bogie train departing from the railway station, you need to buy a ticket of 70 taka per person.
One of the attractions of the museum is a cafe inside a slow aircraft. Here, various set menus and fast food are available for visitors. The price of food is much lower than outside. The new addition to the Air Force Museum, the Aquarium Park and Bird Area, is still under construction. For now, the exhibition of this section has been suspended by the museum authorities.

On the occasion of Eid, the museum will be open from 10 am to 9 pm for three days. However, the museum is open six days a week, closed on Sundays. On normal days, the Air Force Museum is open from 2 pm to 8 pm from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays, it is open from 10 am to 9 pm.
The Bangladesh Air Force Museum, located in Agargaon, Dhaka, can be easily reached by getting off at Agargaon metrorail station and walking. Once you exit the station, the museum will be visible on the opposite side of the IDB building.
