In a gesture of humanitarian aid, Khulna City BNP General Secretary Shafiqul Alam Tuhin has provided financial support to Rana, a 32-year-old resident of Khajurer Culvert area under Ward No. 31, who has been bedridden due to chronic kidney disease for the past three years. The assistance aims to help cover the daily cost of Rana's medication, which ranges from Tk 1,800 to Tk 2,000.

Background on Rana's Condition

Rana's severe kidney condition has left him unable to work, significantly impacting his family's income. His daily medication needs have become a financial burden, exacerbated by the high cost of treatment. The immediate support from Tuhin was prompted after learning about Rana's plight.

Details of the Assistance

Upon learning about Rana's situation, Tuhin directed local BNP leaders to offer immediate help. A team of leaders and activists visited Rana's home on a Friday, assessed his condition, and provided financial aid on behalf of Tuhin. The leaders assured Rana's family of ongoing support for his medical and future needs.

Rana's family expressed their gratitude to Tuhin and the BNP leaders for their timely intervention and support. This act of kindness underscores the BNP's commitment to community welfare and support for those in need.

The financial assistance provided by Tuhin is expected to alleviate some of the immediate burdens faced by Rana's family, allowing them to focus on his ongoing treatment without the added stress of financial constraints.
