Government primary schools will start their holiday from May 23, as per a notification from the Primary and Mass Education Ministry. The holiday, which includes the Eid-ul-Azha and summer break, will last until June 6.

Previously, it was decided to keep primary schools open until May 22. However, the ministry announced the change on May 22, stating that schools will be closed from May 23 to June 6.

The holiday schedule includes 16 days for primary, secondary schools, and colleges, and 23 days for madrasa institutions. The break includes weekly holidays on May 22 and 23.

After the summer break, schools will reopen on June 7. Additional holidays in July and August have also been announced.
